What does Wellspring Ministries do?
Wellspring Ministries, also doing business as Wellspring Counseling Center, is an
outpatient mental health facility in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Psychotherapy services
are offered for people ages three and up and include individuals, 
couples, and families.
The following are some of the issues that we treat:
- Depression
- Marital
- Anger
- Grief
- ADD/ADHD
- Anxiety
- Stress
- Abuse
Provisionally licensed professional counselors and clinical social workers are used to provide the counseling. They are supervised by licensed providers in accordance with the laws set forth by the state of Missouri.
Our clientele consists of people who are unable to afford other counseling options. This underserved population often does not have insurance and is able to show financial need. With help from donations, we are able to offer reduced rates according to a sliding scale based on the current Federal Poverty Guidelines.
Occasionally people may have insurance but cannot afford their deductible or co-pay. We will look at each situation on a case-by-case basis to determine who qualifies for our services.
Wellspring does not accept insurance or Medicaid.
