Is a faith based, non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality counseling services at an affordable cost to the underserved people of our community.
The mission of Wellspring is to deliver mental health services to financially challenged individuals in Lee’s Summit and surrounding communities in order that they may have opportunity to achieve health and wholeness in their lives. It is also Wellspring’s mission to offer programs of education to groups who share our mission of increasing awareness and understanding of mental illness in our society. We accomplish this as a non-profit entity seeking funds from individuals, organized groups, and corporations and their foundations. We do not believe that good health care of any type should be based on the good fortune of one’s life.
We respect the diversity of individual faith and religious belief. We believe that all mental health treatment is conducted in the context of honoring each individual’s uniqueness, including faith and belief. Each of our therapists is committed to helping individuals utilize the resources of the client’s faith and belief in the therapeutic process.
